New TSR3

    I came home on Thursday and found my new TSR3 had arrived while I was out on the course. Friday morning I took my new driver out for the inaugural round. When I was on the range, I was thinking that I did not seem to see much difference based on where I am used to seeing my range balls end up. I was hoping it was perhaps just the wind or the damp air. Then I got to the first tee and aimed down the right centre of the fairway expecting my usual result - a 150ish yard shot to the green. WOW - I ended up with only 115 yds to the centre of the green and even the guys I was with were in awe ! Over all - I hit the driver 9 times during the round, and only one missed the fairway but that was all me. Hey - we can't all hit the ball the way we want all the time :) At the end of the round I did a mental review of the differences from my round the day before... On average, I did indeed gain an average of 20 yards off the tee. The ball did maintain its' line off the tee with much less draw than I am used to. The ball did not carry as far but that is to be expected as I did end up with a lower lofted combination with the new TSR3 compared to my TSi2, however the roll out was significantly longer which is where I gained most of my distance. The net result is that I have gained control and overall distance. Even more so than I expected from my fitting. I look forward to getting it out in some nice warm weather to see the improvement. Yesterday the temps barely got above 16 degrees C with a cool wind and light drizzle. (but I had to go out to try it)....

    Wow, those are some gains. I just may have to try and find a fitting here in Calgary.

    I was back out again today and still getting a great roll out. My average gain over my TSi2 is still close to 20 yards, so it was not just a fluke of first day excitement. I did not have one of those great 40 yard improvement bombs this time, but I will take the 20 yard gain gladly. As for getting it early - The order for the new driver was placed through the staff at the National Fitting Center right after I had the fitting. Shipping was speedy as it came directly from Titleist to my door. The staff at the National Fitting Center are absolutely top notch ! I am loving my new driver and am now looking forward to checking out the new irons in 2023 :)

    Totally jealous Darius. Can’t wait to get fitted for mine. Hoping I can get that done soon so I have it for some upcoming golf trips.

    Been a fantastic season and my TSI2 has done wonders for my driving game

    Just received my new TSR2 driver and 3 wood. Nice gain off the tee with the driver but, I was really impressed with the 3 wood. The height and distance outstanding compared to my TSi2 blew me away. Great clubs.

    Seems like the TSR3 driver has produced great results for many. I'm hoping I can find time to get fit for the driver and fairway sometime soon.

    Pulled the trigger on the TSR3 fairway today, hoping to get it before the season ends.

    The TSR3 fairway came in today! Came incredibly quick; will have it on the range tomorrow and first round will be Saturday. Thank you Titleist for building and delivering it so quick!

    Travis and Mark... I look forward to hearing how the new club performs for you. In my case, the biggest increase in total distance came from a significant improvement in the roll out. Likely due to the reduced spin rate off the club face. Hope the season lasts a bit longer so you can get out and put the new clubs to work :)

    I've played a few rounds with the new 15 degree TSR3 fairway and I must say it has been pretty darn good so far. I've only had the opportunity to play it off the tee and a couple of times I've hit some absolute rockets. The launch, spin and ball flight has been great; seems to suit me really well. I may have found perfection in a fairway wood.
