Larry, I would expect the volume of sales for AVX would have to increase significantly for it to be cost effective for them to produce small batch specialized numbers. They can do it on ProV1 as there is high demand for all numbers. If you tour the ball plant you will see how the mass production system works and how they are not really set up to do a dozen at a time for a number that isn't being ordered a lot. They would have to start and stop frequently which in a factory that is running mass production on 3 shifts, 24/7, would really slow production and add cost. Maybe some day they can find a way but for now, it's not because they don't like you, its because the price of specialized AVX's would be $$$$.

Halfway there, the 4-4-3 special at least allowed a single number (of 1, 2, 3, or 4) for the entire package. Not my favorite #50 but at least I know what number I was playing w/o thinking.
  4. Played this ball in the wind earlier this week and was quite impressed with flight/distance. Great feel too!
  5. Just bought a dozen of these hopefully see if I will get on with them.

I've not seen anyone play the avx so I guess there not a Popular choice.
  6. I use the Velocity "visi" white ball and really like the way it plays. Very close to the other top balls from Titleist.... they also come with double numbers which I like. This is my #1 ball and the Prov1 is my #2. AVX would be my #3. I use each for a round so as to give them a fair rating.

I'm not seeing others using this ball.. I would like opinions on the way this ball "feels" and plays as compared to the standard Velocity ball.
