while I agree that one click is enough, the design of the wrench is for it to click or slip once you apply the correct amount of pressure. You really cannot over-click or strip the treads if you are using this tool. That's the whole point of the tool. As you say, with respect. :)

For those out there who are not familiar with the correct use of the torque wrenches? When adjusting the heads, "one click" is enough. More can cause damage to the club and strip the screw. This was emphasized to me when I bought my first Titleist driver from the Titleist account. I have my original 910 wrench which came in a pouch and use mine often to make adjustments to my lofts. Have never broken a wrench or stripped a screw.

Likely the guy/gal at Dick's added it to the order when he/she placed it with Titleist. They may not have known if you already had one and were just being nice. Good on them.

Very weird! I received one with my new TSr2. I ordered it through Dick's Sporting Goods though.

Other companies may use the same torx bit, but not positive the torque is the same. Since Titleist supplies them at n/c i’d one. (If I didn’t already have 4 after 1 actually broke)

When you place an order for a fairway wood or hybrid you can request a wrench at time of order. As others have stated they will generally come with a driver. Also check with the place you purchased your fairway wood from and they will generally have a few laying around to give you one or they can contact Titleist and they will send one out to you.

Just go to your local pro shop you buy clubs from. They have should have a billion laying around to give you. Or if they're sucky, let you buy.

Thanks all. So, the wrench comes with the drivers, but not the fairways? I'm planning on upgrading my driver as well to the new TSR 2 or 3, so I can probably wait.

I received one today with the delivery of the TSR2 today. They normally don’t come with the fairway woods.

I think they mean just the "normal" wrench used by all companies to change shafts, tighten shafts, etc. Hope this helps.

Any of the Titleist torque wrenches will work. They no longer supply them routinely as most TT members have 3 or 4 laying around from previous purchases. The retailer where you purchased from can contact Titleist and they should be able to mail you one, included in your original purchase price. The purpose of them is to avoid stripping out the set screw. I keep one in my golf bag so I can double check the clubs occasionally just in case one has worked loose (they never have). I also might adjust the loft setting before starting a round if I need to adjust the loft for windy or soft conditions. Don't worry about exact torque tolerances, just steer clear of using a hex wrench without a way to avoid putting too much pressure on the screw. Enjoy the new club!
