My First Hole-In-One!

The front 9 of Honey Creek is relatively easy, while the back really tests your golf game. Making the turn at +12, meant I needed a lot of help to break 90. I parred 10 and 11 before a double on 12 set me back again. A 300 yard drive on the par five, set me up for a two putt par and I was back on track. Unfortunately, this quick play caught us up to the foursome in front who offered to let us play through. Par 3. 173 yards. With 7 spectators, I knew my chances of shanking one into the trees on either side were increasing with each pupil. And of course, I had the box. I stepped up with my TM Qi 7i, teed the ball up just a bit to get some loft and let it go. As soon as I sent it I said "Well that's not gonna get there". And it didn't. It took a bounce just before the green, trickled on and disappeared. The crowd (bc there literally was one) went wild. I couldn't believe it. I pulled out my phone and we all rode towards the green to verify. There is was. My first hole-in-one...

1st Hole In One!

This was my first hole in one, and I've played this great game for 45 plus years. It happened during our Thursday ladies group. No one saw the ball go in because hole #12 is a well guarded par 3 with hills in front and a green that slopes toward the back. I can't begin to convey my surprise when my ball was nowhere to be found and one of the girls said, look in the hole! There it was, my Titlist TruFeel #2!!! I'll never forget that moment and the celebration afterward.

I had my first hole in one yesterday 5/3/2026. I used a Pro V1 on the 7th hole @ Radrick Farms golf course in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The hole is 183 yards and I hit a 6 iron.

Hole in one on my birthday !

I always play a round of golf on my birthday, I love this game. I practice twice a week, and I try to play a couple times a month. It’s hard with little kids and running businesses, but it’s one of my passions so I make time for it when I can! Two years ago on my 37th birthday. I switched to Titleist T 100 S irons and I’ve been loving them. This last Friday on my 39th birthday May 1 I was playing at Wild Hawk Golf course in Sacramento California. I was hitting my shots really well flushing my irons I was having a good round. I came up to the 17th hole. It was a par 3 155 yards and I knew my 9 iron was going to get the job done. I walked up to the ball hit a great shot. Started off slightly left of the hole and was getting closer as it landed, it landed about 8 feet from the pin and started rolling towards it and then once it got to the pin it disappeared. I couldn’t believe my eyes. My brother was right next to me and he said wait. Did that just go in? My best friend Ty and my other buddy Sean we’re also there and when we drove up to the pin, we couldn’t see the ball on the green and once I walked up to the pin, sure enough it was in the hole. I couldn’t believe my eyes.!! What a birthday gift!!

My name is Gerard Taylor and after 25 years of playing golf I finally got my first ACE!

I was playing in my clubs Spring member/member and on day two with a shotgun start which took me to # 17 at River Hills Country Club in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. It was my first swing of the day. The hole was playing approximately 180 yards into a 1 club wind. I hit my 4 hybrid off the front right bunker landing 10 or so paces on and tracking to the hole. It dropped!

I was playing super duper bad and I decided on the back nine just to play for fun and have a good time with my friend. I got to the 17 tee and the 2 randoms I was paired with hit their tee shots. I then got up to the tee with a pitching wedge. I hit it and it landed right at the pin. Rolled to the side, then there was a backstop and it rolled of that. I heard someone say "go in ball, go in." Then I walk off the tee box and he starts to scream. I then said "stop messing with me, are you serious." Best time ever on the golf course. It was windy at Carthage Golf course on may 3 2026. Hole #8. My buddies and I stepped up the tee to what seemed like a tough, long par 3. 186 yards to the pin from the blue tees. About 15-20 mph wind in the face. Was between 6 and 5 iron. Decided with a full 6 iron.

Hit the shot, started just left of the pin and started to cut towards the hole. With the shot being uphill we couldn’t see the landing zone. So we put our clubs up and all go to the green.

When we get there, my ball is no where to be seen as we expected it to be right off the back in some short rough or on the green pretty close to the pin.

My friend peeks over the hole, and his jaw drops. I think he is pulling the old classic prank on me, but sure enough there it was. My ProV1x #3 sitting right in the bottom of the cup.

What a better feeling for my first ACE!!!

We were playing Royal Oaks golf course in Ocala Fl. On hole 3 Par 3 119 yds I hit my 9 iron with a Pro V 1x. Hit a draw hi once and disappeared I thought it went off the green. When we got up on green to pull pin it was in the hole. We all went nuts. I won closest to pin money plus group hole in one money. Couldn't have done it without my ProV1x ball. Left-handed player, high, clean strike. Landed just short, one hop, then started tracking straight at the cup and disappeared.

Aced with the driver - never saw it go in. Caddies looked all over, behind green, in trees, then one walked over to look down into the cup and said, 'you ain't gonna believe this. I'm not touching it." I walked over, pulled it out and smiled for the camera. My son was playing with me. What an experience.

Playing in the annual Tayleur Cup, at Thornhill Goof Club in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland

147 yards with a 7 iron (Titleist T100s) as it was in the air, I jokingly said “that’s a thing of beauty”, it bounced twice and ran about 6feet into the hole - Ingot the shock of my life!!

Friday, May 1, 2026 at Prospect Bay Country Club

I was on hole 15 and playing with 3 friends, one is a former golf professional at our club. The hole was playing 121 with a light breeze from left to right. I was between clubs and took a little more and set up for a fade. Hit the tee shot high and it bounced gently left of the hole and spun to the right and we all watched it track to the hole and drop it.

Glad I had insurance! This was my first hole in one.

2nd hole at Victoria Golf Club, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. 108 yards pitching wedge, 38 degrees. Ball AVX. No one saw it go in the hole so we looked back of the green. I said: " Check the hole" and there it was.

Opening day at River Spirit playing with my brother and 2 long time friends. Snow finally melted so we got out opening day and I aced hole 2 on the Millburn 9.

189 yards with a 5 Iron. I hit it dead straight and it landed on the front of the green and we watched it roll in!

Hole in One - Easiest $5 made

As I was teeing up on hole #5 at Braintree Golf Course my friend, Connor, said “I bet $5 you won’t even hit the green!” After laughing and agreeing to the bet, I teed off. It was a flushed 7 iron fading toward a middle right pin. As it flew right for the flag I chuckled and said “that’s the easiest $5 I’ve ever made” then it went completely silent while we all watched the shot in disbelief. After one bounce and a few feet of roll out, the ball disappeared into the cup for a Hole in One! We went crazy celebrating! My most memorable golf shot and $5 I’ve ever made, so far.

First Ever Hole in One!

I play once or twice a week at local executive course (Par 29) and normally play solo. May 1, 2026 my 21 yr old son asked to join me before he goes out of town. We both had hit some so-so shots but I started stringing some good shots together and felt the confidence building. Hole 6, 73 yards (I know I know… still counts) I stepped up to tee box and hit a pure 58* Vokey wedge high and with a slight draw that bounced just short of hole and rolled perfectly into the hole. Yelling and whooping ensued and was even better having my oldest son there to witness.

2nd hole in one

Just had my second hole in one on Thursday April 30th. It was 8 years ago that I had my first hole in one on April 17th 2018. Both came on the same course but different holes. Both times I was using a Pro V with a black #4. The first one rolled into the hole and this one went in on the fly, slammed dunked it. The moral to the story is from now on in the month of April I will always be using #4 Pro V ball on all par 3’s that I play!

A member of Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove, Illinois. Decided to play my first round of the year and 48° weather yesterday. Par 3, 165 yards into the wind. Two bounces into the hole. People I was with have never even seen a hole-in-one. It was awesome. They used a yellow Titleist prov1 X.

I was playing a round with 3 buddies at Stoney Creek Golf Course in Nellysford, Va. I was on Hole 7 on the Shamokin course 180 par 3 all downhill playing 157. I was playing with a Titleist Velocity using my new Titleist 100 8 iron. Ball hit front right of green just past the bunker, bounced twice and rolled in the cup. We all went nuts as well as the group that just walked off the green. First hole in one ever and first time anyone in my group experienced one in person.

I’ve been playing golf for most of my life. Last year in October I finally got a hole in one with a Titleist ball on a 140yd shot on the 5th hole of Olivas Links.

Today, half a year later I get my second!!

Harding Golf Course in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. 5th hole (again!) 170yds with a 6i. My buddy had just hit one right at it and we said “that could be in”. I hit mine, a little off the bottom groove and I take a hand off the club but great flight straight at it. One bounce. My buddy says “THAT could be in.” I sneak a peek through the rangefinder and only see one ball… get up there, one pitch mark a foot below the hole and there’s the ball in the hole. Awesome round with friends and won’t forget it.
