I select my hat based on the color of my shirt. Although I am moving toward just having white hats with black lettering and black hats with white lettering. That certainly makes the selection process easier and simpler. It also makes it easier when I travel. I don’t have to match and select my outfits specifically in advance.

Hat to match the shorts/slacks. On those real hot, sunny days, it's a white hat no matter what.

I'm a fashion snob, though somewhat understated in my style. More of a traditionalist. Like Titleist, traditional. Everything I wear is always planned out and coordinated perfectly, including hat, shoes ( 8 pr FJs in rotation ) and belt (at least a half dozen). Jackets, vests and sweaters too. I just wish I could live up to my fashion sense with a game to match. When my game is on fire, I wear bolder colors, yet still with an overall classic look.

So, my answer is 1, 2 3 & 4!

I usually wear a gray web belt with a US Navy belt buckle. My Titleist hat is either a ballcap that is gray or the aussie hat that is gray. Homage to my Navy days. Might have to alternate some other colors shortly when I retire as a 31yr Acushnet Police Officer.

I like to match shoes to the pants and shirt...if I have a hat that matches then I'll do that too...makes for some loud outfits on the course. Belts are tough for me, bc i have a reversible brown/black belt and a reversible white/grey one.

Not always wearing a hat but my formula always is

Belt, shoes match so hat matches them.
Or in case of no belt, hat matches pants.

Prefer the first option in white
