    Wait - There's bag-tags?!?!?!
Just kidding Mike and TT team. This was a much needed post and will hopefully cut down on the SWAG questions. We're all very fortunate to get to enjoy this community, interact with the best brand in golf, and meeting new friends.
    Cheers TT

Sooooooo. How about that bag tag???

Just kidding. Great info MD. Let's hope this will help to spur meaningful conversation and banter.

  7. I think this is a absolute perfect response to the SWAG question. As a new member, I understand wanting to know about free items. Its only human to want to show your passion and support through stickers, bag tags, etc. The vast majority of responses have been informative and well put. I have noticed a few where I can sense the annoyance in the question. I hope we could all learn to be more understanding like this post. You never know who might leave if they feel shamed for asking.

Having met Mike and several others of the TT staff, I can tell you they truly do value the members of TT and our support of the brand.

I'm sure if they could give a bag tag or stickers or hats to everyone, he would. It's a thankless and impossible to task to please everyone, but Titleist does it as well as any company I can think of.

Thanks to Mike and the whole company for what they do for us!

great post to clarify about TT goodies! I like the fact that the staff at Titleist is responsive but more importantly, the community is there to motivate, congratulate and educate me about golf.

Well said Mike. I made the CHOICE to switch to Titleist after MANY years playing miz. I love my Titleist clubs and will probably be "Titleist for life". While "free stuff" is always great, that is not why I am here. Keep up the great work !!!

Michael hit the nail on the head. Look below the names of lots of guys who are telling you what to do to get one (participate in discussions, and complete your profile....). Notice those who have them have boatloads of posts from participating. Some in the hundreds or thousands! Keep checking the postings all the time and jump in. TT will take notice.

    Hey Team Titleist,

I know we get some questions from time to time on how you can get your hands on some of the limited edition TT gear, so I wanted to provide you all with some more insight and answers.

As you can all imagine, we do our absolute best to come up with new ways to thank everyone for being a part of Team Titleist. Whether it’s surprise mailings, sweepstakes and giveaways, bag tags, sticker packs, special events, product testing opportunities, first access to limited edition gear on My Titleist or other benefits, we’re always looking to provide this group with something special.

This is a core pillar of Team Titleist and we’ll continue to listen to all of you when it comes to different ways to show our appreciation.

We sincerely appreciate the choice you all make to play Titleist, to be a part of Team Titleist, and to help showcase your passion for Titleist. I truly feel lucky to be a part of this community and all of you, the TT members, help fuel my passion to keep doing whatever I can to deliver an experience you all enjoy.

In the meantime, below are some answers to a few of the questions we’ve seen pop up on the forums lately. Also, the team and I will work to consolidate any new posts regarding TT gear questions to this thread moving forward.

Q: How do I get a bag tag or sticker pack? Why haven’t I received my bag tag or stickers yet?

A: We did have a promotion running where any new or existing members who completed their profile would receive a bag tag or sticker pack, and that is how most people received them. The response was overwhelming - so a huge thank you to Team Titleist. You guys and gals rock.

Unfortunately, we did run out of these limited items. We sent as many of these out as possible and got them into the hands of as many TT members as we could, but we won't be able to send anymore at this time. If we get more bag tags or stickers, you’ll all be the first to know and we will also let you know how to get them the next time around.

We did try to be as clear as possible that these were only available while supplies lasted, but we will do a better job moving forward of being even more clear on that front.

As you can imagine, we absolutely love to see the enthusiasm for our brand and we love to see so many people excited to show their support on and off the course - so we will explore ways to make these available again.

Q: How do I get to test products? Why wasn’t I selected for the latest golf ball test panel?

A: When it comes to product test panels, we also do our best to include as many TT members as possible. However, each of our test panels vary in size and scope, so we can't guarantee that everyone will be selected to participate. The best way to ensure you’re considered for product testing is to make sure your profile is complete (click here to complete or update your profile).

Q: How do I get free TT swag? How do I get considered for surprise mailings? How can I get a lanyard? Etc.

A: While TT is more about the shared passion for the game of golf, connecting with other golfers and having a place to talk all things golf and Titleist…we know it’s also fun to have a surprise package of TT swag land on your doorstep.

Similar to test panel participation, we can’t guarantee that everyone or anyone will get a surprise mailing but your best bet to opening the doors to a potential surprise would be to make sure your profile is complete and as many of the TT members have posted in other threads…make sure you’re active and engaged with the community.

We can’t guarantee anything but by staying active and engaged, you’ll also stay in the know with anything we have going on, like a pop-up forum sweeps (also a good way to win some swag).

Again, thanks for being a part of Team Titleist and feel free to ask any other questions by adding a comment and we’ll do our best to answer.

Here’s to more fairways and greens!

    Mike

    Mike,

First and foremost I have nothing but the utmost respect for you, your staff, and fellow members however, after your post, now it seems that the TT trolls are planning on using your post as a way to shun eager members who appear IMO to want nothing more than to ask simple questions or get clarification to their wants and needs.

One recommendation would be to use this post as an acknowledgement to TT membership similar to what Admins use on certain FB sites.

As a Scotty Cameron Enthusiast/Collector I have seen on numerous occasions of members taking care of members. As an example I was lucky enough to receive an extra lanyard at a recent event. Instead of bash someone on the site for asking how to get a lanyard for work, I told the member to reach out and I would take care of him. Paying it forward if you will.

While I know that Titleist doesn't promote flipping or selling of their coveted items, I am confident as a long time Titleist guy and TT member that they would applaud paying it forward and taking care of others as you can.

The Titleist brand stands for excellence and I challenge fellow members to remember that when getting annoyed with redundant posts or posts that bother you. Not all members have the same opportunities to get the time to attend events or the financial abilities to attend as well.

Playing golf weekly with TM or cally guys just reinforces how lucky I am to play the #1 brand in Golf. I don't see any events for these wanna be brands. Do you? With that being said I just want to promote inclusion as opposed to ostracize members for asking simple questions without assuming they have a hidden agenda by asking. Being #1 isn't easy, and TT members should remember that as much as the ball and club developers do. I feel that we owe it to them to uphold our end of the bargain as well. Cheers....Schultzy

    Mike,

Glad to see a post like this. I’ve been fortunate the past few years to be able to attend events. I am always about spreading the gospel about the #1 brand in golf. I believe the swag is just an extra bonus to the friendships I have made through TT.

Nonetheless I hope your post provides clarity about the bag tags and swag.

    Mahalo,
    Brent
