Finally completed my profile this year! Keeping my fingers crossed. Either way, can't wait to hit my newly purchased TS2 Driver! Winter is killing me, but there's always a simulator nearby! Stay healthy everybody.

I have been fortunate to receive several nice gifts during my years as a TT member. Thank you! I display and use them proudly. I haven’t been as active posting this year as year’s past. COVID has been a rude interruption for us all! I hope to be more active this year.
  4. I was fortunate enough to receive a bag tag when it was still handed out when profiles were completed but I'm definitely looking forward to more swag! I love the community here, but on the side, I'm hoping that becoming more active in the threads will help me get on the list for surprise mailings and product testings!

I have been reading lately about the Team Titleist ball markers and exclusive deals. Where and how can I get thing like that? Always liked Titleist but one piece I’m missing is the ball marker.

If you have been reading, like you say you have, you can find tons and tons of posts asking this very same question and us "old timers" repeating the answer, over and over.
  7. I heard the best way to get TT swag is to be active here in the forums. I have spent thousands of dollars on Titleist gear in the past several years. I would rather be recognized for that than have to rely on posting or reply repeatedly since I don't have that much time to do so.

  8. I don't think you get the point of this forum. You didn't sign up for free gear you signed up to a community of like minded golfers
  9. Alex honestly I could give a crap about free gear. I just assume pay for my gear. I emailed Titleist inquiring where I can purchase TT ball markers and the CSR basically pointed me here to the discussion groups.

As Alex mentioned above, the point of being here is not to earn TT swag, it is the community and friends you make, we are all here for the love of Titleist and golf.
Whether we spend thousands of dollars per year on new clubs or a few bucks on a new glove, we are all passionate about Titleist.
I am sorry to hear that you feel that the money spent should surpass the experience of being part of something much bigger than clubs and golf balls Robert.
  11. I am not here to earn swag believe me. I am here because I have been a devoted user of Titleist equipment for years. Like I stated above I made a mere inquiry to Titleist on how I can go about purchasing TT ball markers and this is what I was told...

"If you are interested in potentially earning some TT swag or participating in one of our many product testing opportunities, please learn how you can increase your chances here: ">www.titleist.com/.../answers-to-your-questions-on-bag-tags-stickers-test-panels-and-more"

I don't care about free swag what I wanted was to purchase a ball marker. It seems to me like my message was misinterpreted.

Agree with Alex. I was raised to believe "nothing in life is free" and the way to best enjoy possessions is through the sweat of working for it. If you want exclusive TT gear, attend the TT events. We all proudly spend lots of money on Titleist equipment but that should not entitle us to hand outs. Okay, off my soap box now. Glad you are a proud Titleist user and too bad you do not have time to be active on the posts as there is some good info here and building relationships with fellow TT members is a big part of what we do.

I noticed the thread was a bit old but after reading of disappearing Bag Tags I will keep a closer eye on mine! I received mine a few years ago and love it.

I had a question too about being active. I tend to cruise and read a lot more than I post on all the various forums I am on. Is that active or is posting the only thing that defines active?

Also, If i never get a free item, I'm ok with that. I'm not looking for a gimme (i wouldnt turn it down). The information on this forum is worth more than a trinket (again, i wouldnt turn it down :) )

Let me try to explain it this way, anyone can create a TT account by just making a user name and adding an email address. There are literally tens of thousands of "TT members" because of that. It happened because Titleist used to send new members free bag tags. It quickly got out of control as many one-and-done members were either trying to get TT items and resale on ebay or just post a complaint and then move on. The only way Titleist knows that a TT member is a serious participant is by seeing their posts/comments, seeing completed profiles, or seeing them attend events. They cannot afford to send stuff to everyone so they now rely more on occasional sweepstakes or flash sales. Their budgets do not grow just because the TT population grows. The greater the TT membership population becomes, the lower your odds of getting a random mail-out. Hopefully this helps clarify.

No where did I see something stating sign up for TT and get free stuff. I don't really get into forums, but this one has been so beneficial for me & the information & assistance I've gotten from reading over the years is priceless to me.

I started back in the day I used MY game to track my stats on the Titleist site and that was about it.

Then one day out of the blue I got a Bag Tag, I display it with pride. Didn't ask for it but I was involved some and maintained an 100% profile. I've been able to test balls a few times too.

As for what is being active.....

I don't post often considering the number of years I've been on the site, some of that is because my knowledge doesn't equate into being of high caliber to help someone with a swing issue or address issue. But my experiences can help others not make that mistake of correct something simple.

But the community of people I would like to meet at a TT event sometime, but I'd be better served as a caddie at and not a player... Lol

Plus time & work has prevented me from that too. So I'm content being on this wonderful forum even f I don't get a thing for it...

I first swung a golf club in 1966 and have used Titleist products since the mid 1980's long before there was a Team Titleist. I couldn't even estimate what I've spent on Titleist products, nor could I care less as I use the products by choice. Ask those that play TM, Cally, png, cobra, et al, if they get anything for the money they spend. The point is this, I enjoy being on this group. I don't reply to every thread, although I enjoy reading many of them. Stick around and enjoy the group and whatever happens, happens.

hey man, I've never been but from what I've gathered, most of the active guys here get their stuff from a Team Titleist event or they get it from a trip to visit the Ball plant. you can take a tour and then visit a shop.

You may once in a while see TT send out some cool stuff like bag tags, or maybe a sleeve of balls to test out! Wish is really cool and who wouldn't want that?

Most importantly, this is a great place to stay up on titleist brand. Check in with other guys who live the script life and see what everyones using/thinking. I have enjoyed seeing everyones excitement for Titleist that i also have. I will never forget being a Junior High kid an seeing the best player at my club pull out the 975 D. I was HOOKED.

Anyways, you can make this forum whatever you want it to be, you might get some swag you might not, but you can lear a lot of stuff!

Nice looking gear. But getting on this site to beg for TT freebees is highly "frowned upon" by the members of the Team Titleist community. Sign up to be a member (100% profile), be active and involved, attend a TT event in your area or maybe an annual TT invitational. We are having one at Pinehurst in September, but they are very popular and this one filled up (100 players) under an hour. Sometime in the future you might be selected to receive an item in the mail based on your participation from Titleist. Like yourself, all of us on here are dedicated Titleist loyalists and purchase the latest equipment and gear, including their hats and FJ apparel/shoes. That is an interesting shirt. FJ is the official manufacturer of Titleist shirts and that one does not look familiar. The DCIs were great clubs and we have come a long way since then. I played them myself. Thank you for taking an interest in Team Titleist. If you choose not to join our community, you might be able to purchase one on eBay. We do not support those who have them and sell them on that site, but it happens. With respect.
  23. Hi,

Does anyone know how to get a coveted Titleist lanyard? I have used Titleist Balls, Soctty Cameron Putters, and Vokey wedges for the last 10 years.

The ones I have received were given to me during Team Titleist Invitationals I've attended over the years. If they are given at other events or gatherings, I'm not aware of those instances.
