Visited a Titleist fitting day a couple of weeks ago for a TS2 Driver. On the range I was getting more distance with my M2 TM and also better grouping. The lad from Titleist was great and he tried various settings, lofts and shafts but none came closed to my M2. I felt a little deflated, but after speaking to him again at the end of the fitting, he reassured me that confidence in my M2 was helping me achieve my results and to stick with it. That is what I call service and support. On top of his recommendation I have now gone out and purchased two Hybrid 818 H1's. 23 degree and 27 degree with a Tense CK series 60HY Flex R shaft( the same as my irons ). This is to replace my trust old 27 degree png and 21 degree M2 hybrids. Looking forward to the summer with confidence, after getting fitted and purchasing my 718 AP1's last November, my old M2 and a renewed passion and expectation for hitting the greens with my new Hybrids from 170-215 yards. Thank you Titleist.

I had a similar experience. I was getting a 3 wood fitting, so naturally wanted to try the driver. It just wasn't any better than my M4 unfortunately. Though it shows the professionalism of the Titleist fitter, as he told me to stick with what I had rather than try to recommend it, despite me being desperate to liberate myself of the only non titleist club in the bag.

Great testament to the Titleist fitters who are obviously NOT incentivised to sell unlike some club pros (mine has another manufacturer affiliation and will make money from sales) and the dreaded superstore who have targets and stock to shift.

Luckily, while my pro is, and always has been affiliated with miz, he will still fit people to what works for them. I tried the 919 tour irons at the same time as AP2, but the AP2 just felt better and they are in the bag now.

Love the new 818H1s but so surprised at the distance I'm getting on them. My old png 27Degree was ideal for 165-175 years in, but I'm finding that the Titleist 27degree is going 20 yards further and the fitting knocked it down to 28degrees. The 23 degree is now being used for 215-230 yards. Technology certainly has improved these clubs and the distance is phenomenal. Just need to make sure the accuracy stays the same and if possible improve !!
