  1. Hi guys.. I'm in awe of everyone on these forums with brand new equipment. All the latest gear.. Its ace.. Me personally I bought some 710 Ap2s from a fella in Falkirk for £150 about 5 or 6 yrs ago whilst working in that neck of the woods..that was me hooked.. I then won 3 sm5 wedges for a fiver on a bonus ball page. Stadry bag came next. 50 off ebay then a scotty for 100 off a fb selling page.. Snapped the shaft on my 7 iron on a tree root n nearly broke my arms lol. Couldn't live with a club down so tapped the wife up for my birthday for some 714 Ap2s.. That pretty much where we are at now... Exciting ain't it

  3. I got my first Titleist club off a guy in a car park sale. Gave him 25 old irish punts for an old 2 iron. Couldnt hit it more than 5 yards but it made me feel good. I always made sure it was at the front of my golf set when I played matchplay as it intimidated lads for a few holes anyway. Then I usually got beat.

Then I swapped a full set of Top Flite XL2000 irons for a 905T driver. I think it was around 2005 sometime. I could get it out there about 210 with a good belt on a hot day. Pinnacle golf balls went miles but I found I was missing fairways on the left a lot . I reckon I had the wrong shaft. Or maybe I should have used Titleist balls. I use them now.

The missus bought me a set of Fazer irons for my 40th but I traded them in on Done Deal and got a second hand 714 AP2s for an extra 100 euros. Same as you - isnt that freaky. They are great clubs. Some people reckon they were the best of all the AP2s?

I would love a set of T100/T200 blended irons but I think I'll have to wait for my 50th, maybe my missus will produce the goods for me - you never know, life is funny that way

My mate in work has a TMB 3 iron with a ladies shaft in it. Said he would sell for 90 euros. I am thinking about it. They're brilliant irons

Anyway golf is great. I cant wait for the Turkeys and Hampers season to kick in - might win one this year and save money for more beer at chrimbo hahaha

What about the Driver and Fairways?
  5. Forgot about those lol.. Was just in the back of a van on my way to work.. Got some tax back a couple of years ago. Fb selling page again. 915 driver 3 Wood and hybrid £200.all in fantastic condition..living the dream.. Could just do with getting our more
  6. Forgot to say I now have AP3s - they are lethal
  7. As long as you enjoy them that's all that matters right?

Also just for the weekend hacking there isn't the need for the top end brand new stuff is there?

I think the guys on here with all the latest gear play all the time and really get the most from their golf.
