  1. Thinking of getting a new 56 and 60 degree wedges and the trend seems to be raw finished wedges that would rust over time. Im leaning towards wedges that wont rust but was wondering what everyone else was using? Thanks in advance

I’m waiting on the brushed steel to come in because they looked unique. Personally I’m not a fan of the old rusted look. I like my clubs clean and shiny. Rusty just looks old and too used to me but that’s just my opinion.

I use RAW and have for years. I love the way they age, no glint/reflections and just the look of them. And "Rust" is a bot of an overstatement IMO. I suppose if you left them alone with humid conditions they would rust (perhaps a lot) but with regular use and a bit if care and feeding (wiped after each use, cleaned after each round) I have never had "Rust" on the wedges - more of an aged patina. Comes off with a magic sponge by the way which I also do each spring. YMMV.

    Really love my raw wedges!!!
I have several SM8's in raw and just picked up a PW in tour chrome.

  7. I’ve had the last couple wedges built in Jet Black, love the finish. They say on them that they are going to rust but after sm7 and sm8 I’ve yet to see any rust.

I have a 48F SM8 in raw; its more of a weathering than a full blown slow oxidation.

    I love it.

I prefer the Jet Black finish. They are more cost effective than ordering Raw Finish wedges. They also will rust a bit over time and offer the benefit of a non-glare finish on bright sunny days.
