  1. I'm going to Pinehurst in about a month and was considering doing a ball fitting while there. Has anybody done this yet? If so, how was your experience?

They will have well trained staff and all the right equipment. You probably should contact the shop on how to schedule a time. Highly unlikely they will take walk-ins.

I should add, I’ve been fit more than once by Titleist trained fitters. Just not at Pinehurst. The answer is always Pro-V1-x. Even had one where AVX, Left Dash, V, and X were used. X still won. At least for my game. Winner, winner.
  4. I had a ball fitting this Summer and the experience was great! We compared the Pro V1 to the Pro V1x and to my surprise, the V1x was a better fit for me. Higher flight with more spin for approach and around the green. I would recommend getting the fitting for sure. Unfortunately, it wasn’t at the new center at PH. Looking forward to checking it out next time I’m there.

I'm considering doing this during the Pinehurst TT event. Always play ProV1-x but used regular ProV1's my last round and hit the ball really well.
