Patrick Cantlay defended his BMW title and is poised to take his talent and his full bag of Titleist equipment to two FedEx Cup wins in a row ! Despite the fact the course was playing tough for some, Patrick Cantlay held it all together and pulled off the win. Do you think he will pull it off and be the first to win back to back FedEx Cups as well ????

I am a huge Cantlay fan and he is great ambassador for the brand. Like many of the pros, he is famously reluctant to upgrade what works for him. He even wears his old DryJoy shoes instead of going with the Premiums like most other guys. There was a close-up on tv of his caddie putting his 915F 3-wood back in the bag and putting a TSR cover on it. Funny. He's definitely an "if it aint broke, don't fix it" guy.

I was kind of hoping for Scott Stallings to pull it off. He hasn't won for 8 yrs and he played really well over the weekend.

Yep, Scott was pretty impressive given the situation. Most guys with that history and such a big event with top players around, would not have done nearly so well on the last day. He played well enough to win but just played against a guy that was a bit better that week. Hopefully he gets that next win soon.

It was nice to see him win again, it's a little weird that this is his first solo win of the year after the season he had last year.
