    Lethbridge,

I just went through a fitting for the new TSR driver and 3 wood. The change from the TSI heads was amazing. End up being fit for TSR2 10 degree driver with a Kuro Kage shaft. The 3 wood was a 16.5 degree with a Kuro Kage shaft. I was blown away the average ball speed was up 4mph and carry 10 yds. The feel of the ball coming off the club is unreal and very hard to describe. Safe to say the old TSI3 diver and 3 wood are destined for the basement. My old TSI2 3 wood could not keep up to the new TSR club. Did not think Titleist could improve on the TSI driver. I was wrong big time.

Agreed... I too had the awesome opportunity to test out the new TSR Driver and settled on the new TSR 3. I really like the new shape and feel. Too bad our season will be close to over by the time we get the new clubs in our bags... I am looking forward to seeing what Titleist does with their new irons next year. It is time for a big change in the bag !

I had the opportunity to go through a Team Titleist TSR driver and 3 wood fitting event in my area and all I can say…thoroughly impressed with the new woods! Did not think I would see much of a difference over my current gamers, TSi3 driver and TSi2 3 wood. Boy was I wrong…Was fit in TSR2 and TSR2 3 wood.. Saw increases in ball speed and distance…TSR2 3 wood was a big surprise, found it much better than my TSi2… Nevertheless, will be ordering TSR driver, 3 and 5 wood as soon as possible.. as a bonus got a Team Titleist swag bag full of goodies including TT logo Prov1s…Hats off to Team Titleist!!

Welcome to the forum Peter ! It is awesome that we are all seeing an increase in ball speed. I really did not think they could improve on the TSi series, but the facts proved me to be wrong :) I look forward to next year when they bring out their improvements to the T100, T200 series irons !

Had my Team Titleist fitting today at Pipers Heath with Chris M.

Fantastic time an I wasd surprised with the results. We were able to sneak a few yards out of the driver (8 carry, 12 overall) versus my TSi2. More surprising was I got into a TSr 4. Had the best dispersion and numbers of all the models.

The fairway wood is legit!!! First the the shaft that fit best was my own Tensei. So coming from a tsi1. I picked up 15 yards just carry!!! I also gain 20 feet of height! That is with a TSr3 head in a straight head to head with the same shaft!!

Big thanks again. The swag bag was a great touch!

    Bragg Creek,

I went through the fitting a couple days ago. I suppose I'm not as blown away by most of new product as most are, or want to be. I'm hitting my TSi really well, and have been for a while. Putting the TSR down beside TSi...everybody here already knows there's not much difference at address. But that's a good thing. TSi3 looks perfect and so does TSR3. There really wasn't anything in them, a 4 yard edge to TSR, and a TINY bit better dispersion, but I'm confident that if I hit 50 balls with each, they'd be about the same (I was really buttoning both). I actually prefer the sound of TSi.
The fairways were great, as you'd expect. Again, I REALLY prefer the sound/feel of the TSi stuff but the full face scoring lines are a winner and the little bump in carry was nice, about 5 yards on the 3 wood.

The TSR2+ was the big surprise of the day for me. I hit that thing on an absolute rope. And I mean a rope. It was a joke. This will be my new tee club when I don't have to hit driver. With my own 3 wood shaft, I was hitting that thing 315-320, a good 15+ yards more than my 3 wood, but it was just baby fade after baby fade. I probably hit 15 balls with that thing and I wouldn't have missed a 15 yard wide fairway. I hit my 2-iron about 280ish and not as straight as I was hitting TSR2+. I also hit my deuce about 6-8 times a round on average, solely for accuracy. If this club is going replace the 2-iron off the tee and give me 30-40 yards to boot, I'm gonna be the happiest camper at Team Titleist.
