Did a fitting today and boy oh boy. one word. AWESOME

I hit 2019 T200 and they are great.... Fitter came back with KBS tour lite regulars (75 mph 7 iron SS). Tried the T200 and they feel "OK" but clicky if this makes sense

Swapped it up to the T150 and BINGO. way better dispersion and touch less yardage but I felt I could control the ball better and really liked the feel off the face...

    He suggested T150 48*-7 and T200 5-6. I use 24* and 20* TS2 hybrids which I personally love.....

I did try graphite shafts however for me the weight felt uber weird and strange and felt as though I could not control the face at all. With the steel shafts, I could feel the clubbed in transition better.......

Anyone have the same results??? The T200 was "longer" but less height and less spin vs T150.

I think I am going to pull the trigger

Thank You Titlleist for your dedication to fitting specialists.

  2. Loved reading this. I had my irons originally fitted at golftown a long time ago. They still feel wonderful but being fitted for something new would be interesting. I had my wedges fit at the Titleist Fitting Centre at Eagles Nest a few years ago. Loved the experience and the wedges are awesome.

    Thank you for sharing this.

No Problem at all! I have been practicing ALOT in Modern Golf this winter I still love my T200's (2019's)

I am contemplating resifting them with either Nippon Neo 950 GH or KBS tour lites as well. To have as a second set for home...

Getting off topic... when I went to MG to practice they built me up a T150 7 with KBS tour lite and without a doubt the dispersion with that club... MILES better than the T200. Was such an awesome experience

I am booked for May to do a fitting for the T Series irons. It is definitely time to upgrade from my 918 AP3's. So glad you are getting such good results. A tight dispersion is more important than a bit of distance. One can always club up, but if all your shots are wide then you are still putting a lot of pressure on your short game. Personally - I'd rather be putting, and heaven forbid I find myself in a bunker :)

Going back Darius for a TSR driver fitting. my tsi3 is wicked and very curious to see if a newer head/shaft will give me a little more. The work I did this winter is paying off. No rounds in the 90's..... so strange (for me) to see a ball start right and come back left. Hope your golfs good. May 8 is the day at 6pm. Can't wait! See if the numbers will pay off. We will see. All the best. Dan

Daniel - I have the TSR3 and love it. I replaced my TSI2 and have no regrets. On those days when my shoulders allow me to swing freely it is an amazing weapon. At my age I will take any help I can get and the TSR3 gave me a bit of extra distance along with multiple fairways hit. There is no way I am going to bomb it out like I used to and I have learned to accept that.
