  1. For the past 10 years I have struggled to hit full gap and sand wedges. Not exactly sure why but have no issues w/ 3-9 irons. Considering making wedge shafts same length as 9 iron. Anyone experience this or lengthen wedge shafts?

It could be done, but the swingweight would be higher. The raw head weight of Vokey wedges is made to play with a 35 1/2" gap wedge and 35 1/4" sand wedge. A stock Titleist 9 Iron is 36". Adding this additional length is going to change the swingweight 3 or 4 points, so they would be around E0. Most Vokey shafts that I have pulled, have had some amount of brass tip weight installed, and removing that would help. A lighter shaft would be an option, also.

If you ordered these wedges new from Titleist, I'm sure they could build them to stock swingweights at the longer length.
