I was fit for AP2 18 this spring, outdoors, using a trackman with real Pro v1 balls. I was fit for Project x LZ 5.5 and 2 flat. My question is would I be safe ordering the T100 irons in those same specs. I won't get a chance to get fit outside again this year (in upstate NY) and need to spend pro shop credit by 10/31. Thoughts?

  2. Totally safe in my opinion- specs didnt change in terms of loft, lie or length. Cosmetic changes such as a thinner topline and improved sole, biggest noticable change will be in the feel. Both feel great, but there is just something "denser" in the T100's perhaps its the tungsten, either way your fitting sould translate nicely as the T100's are basically the next ap2.
  3. Dave, I totally agree with your statement. Denser is a great way to describe the difference in the feeling!

Thanks for the response ...also what if I used those same specs in the T200 ... I hit them on the range the other day and the were stupid easy to hit.

I would get a second fitting for the T100's.
Sure the specs may be close but the T100's play different to the AP2's.
Get dialed in by a certified Titleist fitter and leave all your questions untouched.
