I'm a little bummed. Shortly after Titleist announced the new iron models, my club released a date for a Titleist fitting. I was quick to sign up as my 718 AP1/AP3 combo set is getting a little old plus have a bunch of shop credit. was also looking to get the new hybrid

After reminding the pro to check, I just found out that the fitter isn't able to fit the new irons until some point in August. He was planning on simply fitting for woods and hybrids. As a side note, I was fit in the fall for the new TSR woods, but the hybrid hadn't been released yet.

Now, I'm not sure if it's worth getting the hybrid fitting on Saturday then wait until the rep comes back to fit for the irons.

I have read some threads and social media posts where others were getting fit already. I'll admit, I was an early person with the 718 irons after being invited to a Team Titleist fitting and having the clubs before the general public could get fit. But this was August, not May/June.

    thoughts?

    thanks,

Driver is a stand-alone item. After I get driver and irons, the I go back for hybrids and fairways to best fill distance gaps. My 23-25 hybrid may need some retooling if a T350 6 iron has a different distance than my current T300.

Do you want or need a new hybrid? There is a difference.

I’d wait and get properly fit for the new irons and the hybrid together. It will ensure proper gapping.
