I ordered clubs through Titleist and had them bent 2 degrees flat per my fitters recommendation (which was a Titleist premier fitter). He also recommended 1/2 inch short. I have been using the new clubs for several months now and I have been fading the ball a lot more than normal.

Upon researching, when you shorten a club 1/2 inches, it essentially makes the club a degree flatter. So now I believe my clubs are playing 3 degrees flat. I would like to bend them back at least 1 degree. Has anyone had experience taking them somewhere to get them adjusted? I don't wanna just go to a Dick's or something, so do you just go to a trusted pro shop or is there a retailer that specializes more in Titleist?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Go have them checked for lie. Use the electronic lie machine it more accurate. 1 flat will bring you up

I've the opposite issue. My 150's and 259's are 2*up plus 1/2" Ball flight constantly a fade. Many lessons and drills to draw some. Switched from png to Titleist 20 years ago.
Sad to admit recently a png certified fitter advised 4 up and proved such with lie board, video and the studio numbers.
Recently read that Titleist can do 4* up with clubs made 2* up and tgen bent 2 more. Is this true?

Titleist does carry iron heads in stock flat/zero) lie and 2 degrees upright so with a max of 2 degree lies, they can fit from -2 to +4 degrees. Can’t say if +1 or +2 factory build clubs use the 0 or 2 degree head. Based on the serial number Titleist can confirm which head you have. If you can get back to your fitter that person should be willing make you satisfied by offering to bend your club to see if that helps.

The stock length of the Titleist versus png in irons were 1/4 different in stock length. That will impact lie as well. I can’t remember which is which. The last time I was fit to both was with the AP-1 712. Until we matched the length on both with fitting shafts, it made all the difference in the world.

You Pro Shop should be able to recommend a local club builder to make this adjustment - be prepared that 1 degree may not be sufficient
