  1. I Hit the DT tru feel outdoors 50* temperature and it went 10 yards further than all other balls. Any idea why?

The primary factor is each of us owns our own swing (thank you, Arnold P). Each ball has unique launch characteristics as well as your driver, shaft, and if you hit up or down off of driver. In your case, the "perfect" combination of speed, equipment, spin, and launch angle may be maximized with the TruFeel for driver. While the TS line is geared towards lowering driver spin, the TS-1 is designed to increase spin. Slower swing golfers can benefit from more spin to help keep the ball in the air resulting in more hang time/distance. The TruFeel can also increase spin. The final test is how well you can score. That's why the ball fitting is from green to tee. If I can't hold a green from 150 yards with a TruFeel, the 10 yards off of driver won't help me score. Based on short game skills, there are golfers that will score as well with a TruFeel as with a V or X. Just as important as getting fit for equipment is getting fit for the ball that fits your game. Changing equipment can also require changing a ball.

Could be lower compression or a sprinkler head!

Here's Titleist take on the distance on the TruFeel ball in their advertising:

How did we make the new TruFeel longer for your game? We enhanced the aerodynamics to maximize flight, so you can experience more distance where your game needs it most.

How did it compare to the Velocity, which is a distance ball as well. Not that I play either of them, but just curious.

Prov1s are in my bag and game.

I would like to see how all the Titleist golf balls compare on Iron Byron. That would be same consistent swing speed for a fair comparison to determine the longest of the golf balls. How about it R&D. Is there a possibility.....or maybe that info is available....thanks, with respect.....
  5. I like the trufeel. Bought a dozen this week
  6. I agree with Chuck. I'd like to see a side by side comparison of the Titleist models for distance. But I would also like to see a side by side comparison of their flights. Which one flies higher, which is more penetrating and so on. Thanks.
