  1. Playing golf April 15 this year I aced the fourth hole. 150 yards, six iron against wind. My best shot occurred five days later on the same course and conditions. The Pro-V1 again fell neatly into the hole. Again six iron against the wind. What are the chances of history repeating itself that way? Dean D

Played 30+ years without having one and then got three in two year's time. Crazy game. I just keep enjoying it for its frustrations and rewards. Congrats on your two aces.

What an accomplishment! Congratulations. Started this crazy game, flog spelled backwards, in 1985. I had my first one in 2001, number two in 2011 and number three in 2015.... Did you tell you story on Titleist Hole in One stores and sign up for a really sweet pewter HOI bag tag? Simple and free. A story worth telling the archives and maybe you have a picture to post on "HOI Stories". As a reminder, the bag tags might take a little longer than normal with the pandemic, so be patient, they are worth the wait. cheers =) cz

A hole in one are like the virus, it will show up when you least expect it.....

Here at PGA GC, we recently had a Husband and Wife, both PGA Professionals, each make a hole in one on consecutive shots, each using the same club, a 6-iron, on the 6th hole of our Dye Course!

I've had an eagle from the fairway, and have hit many very close shots from the fairway. But never from the tee on a par 3 have I holed a shot or nearly holed one. Usually it's 5+ feet away. Mysteries of life I guess. Maybe I need to play shorter par 3s to increase the odds?

Congratulations Dean I have played for over 40 years without one. I have made eagle on a lot of par fours but no hole in one.
