I love the imagery on the PIX golfball but unfortunately enjoy the feel and play of a prov1x. is there any rumors or plans for titleist to release a designed ball like TM and cally have done?

  2. Must admit I like the combined feel and distance of the TM TP5 pix. They fly like a bird when hit sweetly. Sorry Titleist :(

To each his own. Certainly if you feel it works best for you, there is no reason to apologize. There are other companies who make a good ball, too. And some not so good....or consistent.

Independent testing across all brands of popular balls (by MGS, for one) has proven without a doubt that the Pro V1/V1x is the most consistently performing and manufactured ball on the market. But there's even more reason Titleist is far and away the number one golf ball in the world, and it's not due to any sort of marketing hype. It's because of having the best R&D, quality control and 8+ decades of manufacturing experience, most of it here in the US. Take a Titleist ball plant tour someday to see what I mean.

As an annoying, gravelly-sounding spokesman/owner of another golf club manufacturer who likes to scream unsubstantiated claims about his own clubs, I'll make a similar statement about Titleist golfballs: Nobody makes golfballs the way Titleist does. Nobody! And THAT'S been proven.
  4. Surprised I haven't seen this brought up before but yes.....I'm also of the opinion that it would be amazing for Titleist to do their own version of the pix/truvis. I definitely waffle between a few different golf balls and lately I've been really into the golf balls featuring patterns on them. I think this would be homerun for Titleist if they did it...just my opinion of course.

Get a Marks-a-lot. They come in a variety of colors and you can make up your own designs. Just be careful you don't cover the Titleist logo. It's a 2 stroke penalty or loss of hole.

What I like most is the small TT circle (handwritten) design by the ball number on my Pro V1 instead of a busy design.

The last “gimmick” Titleist did for the Pro-V line was adding optic yellow. I wouldn’t expect to see patterns, or now, split colors anytime soon. I think they’re still deciding what to with alignment markings. I doubt Scotty will be doing anything like “triple tracks” on his putters.

The Pro-V line is “the franchise”. Velocity has matt finishes so the non-urethane balls may get some interesting changes. I’ve never seen Titleist follow whatever this year’s trend is. Unless the pro’s ask.
  8. I don't like busy golf balls but if they did something like that, perhaps using the TT logo, I would buy them for sure.

Sorry Titleist, but I switched to Vice a few weeks ago and my spin rate has gone up 1200 rpm wit a 9 iron. I keep trying to find a way to keep using Titleist, but my wallet speaks a little louder than I can handle.

It may be a better ball for your game, but I'd be very curious to know more about your swing characteristics and the conditions on which you are presently playing before making any conclusions.

Obviously Titleist won’t be getting everyone.

You’re welcome to use whatever ball you find that meets your needs.

The DTC brands have had supply issues, since they all contract to get their balls produced. With TM taking over one of the largest manufacturers, there may be additional supply issues and no guarantee of quality from one factory to another.
  12. Yes! Would love to see a pattern like cally and TM has on my Pro V! I branch out more often with by golf balls now solely because of this!

I love the idea of the TT!
