Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the 620 CB irons? I have an opportunity to get a set 3i-pw for what I believe is a very good price! Any info would be much appreciated!

  2. why would you consider these when the T100's are superior in terms of look, feel and forgiveness for a blade? I would strongly recommend you try both before buying if possible. Many of tour pros have converted over to the T100's for those reasons...

    IMHO

I had the 620CB's. They were a great club but I switched to the 2021 T100s. I made this switch in the best of mindsets given I was not looking to change. My instructor had the heads of the T100, T100s and T200 and while I was fooling around he started taking numbers. Turned out that even with the T100s was 2 degrees stronger loft, I was hitting them a fraction higher than my 620s and about a half club longer.

As Chris mentioned, there is so much more tech in newest T series irons that going to the CBs is actually a step backward.

Try the new T100, it's pretty sick.

I have not played CB’s nor MB’s before, but I am considering the 620 MB’s on my next set for 7-P. I love the look of them and reviews sound great for feel. My reasoning for an interest in MB’s is I already have a high trajectory and good distance, so I am okay sacrificing either of those for more control and to shorten my game making my misses less damaging.
I also will be going with a mixed bag most likely so find the clubs you need for the spots you need them!
  5. Great irons. Always played blades but picked up a 5/6 CB for the combo set. If you can get them for a good price they’re definitely worth trying out for less than half the price of t100’s.

I have 4-6 in 620cb and I love them. I moved from a set of T100s to a combo set with mb/cb. As much as I liked the T100s I was not getting the stopping power on the greens I wanted. Even with the strong lofted T100s I have not lost any distance and get the desired ball flight.

I have the 620 CB's and love them. I've always been a blade player so I prefer the look and feel of the CB's over the T100's

I have actually hit a set of the T100's and while they do feel great I just prefer the look of the 620 CB's way more! plus for some reason I always tend to lean more toward the blade side of things when getting clubs (not to say that I can always hit them)! The set of CB's I was looking at I got for a really good deal I think anyways, 3-PW slightly used of course for $650 shipping included.

so far after 2 rounds with them, I'm hitting the ball much higher, haven't really sacrificed any substantial distance and I can hold greens much much better! The thing I really like about them so far is that when I do have a miss hit I don't feel like I am penalized as hard as I was with my old irons!
