You can never go wrong with the Footjoy Premieres. I have a pair of the Tarlows and Packyards. They are some of the most stylish shoe in my opinion. They provide a great amount of stability. I also wear a pair of HyperFlexs which are extremely comfortable.

I am a footwear junkie so I've got a few: FJ Tarlow, FJ Packard, Adidas ZG21, swoosh Victory Tour 2.

I favour the FJs - I feel like they lock my heel in better, my balance is better in them and they're comfy enough for walking on grass.

The more cushioned rides are great for walking but I miss the stability of the FJs

I have worn the last three generations of the Pro SL and really like them. I am considering trying the Tour Alpha. Just like the looks of that shoe. Even though I prefer an athletic looking shoe I may try a pair of Premieres in the future.

After Pro SL's for a few years, it's Packards for me now.

FootJoys are my shoe of choice. I have plantar fasciitis so the more stable options are my preference. My most recent acquisition were the Tour Alpha dual BOA. I think the prior-gen Tour X were better looking, but the performance of the Tour Alpha for what I need is perfect.

Footjoys don't fit me as they are too narrow in the toe but based on the latest No Laying Up video I am prob wearing the wrong size.

The only pair of golf shoes I can wear right out of the bag and walk 36 holes a day are True Links. They don't crush the top of my feet and have never had an issue with them.

There are a number of styles that a have a Full rounded toe character, fuller fit across forefoot. What style were you wearing? Let me know and I can make a couple of recommendations. Size might not be the issue. I do a lot of shoe fittings for FJ at golf events along the SC coast with the FJ rep.

Good to know, Chuck. I've never gone through one of FJs shoe fittings before but would have no hesitation to do so. I like the "Fashion" toe.

I like the looks of the premier's and the traditions. I currently rock swoosh Air Max spikeless and have an old pair of FJ DNA Helix that I rotate in.

I like to walk but like the traditional look so FootJoy Traditions are the shoe for me. Light weight, soft, and very comfortable. I have 5 pairs now.

For me it is the FJ Premier Packards right now. I have two pair; all white and white/navy. Love the look!

I also have two pairs of the FJ Premier Tarlows; all white and all black. Love them as well!
  15. I have been wearing FJ for as long as I can remember. Once the Pro S/L came out I went in and am on my 3rd pair: 1 laced, 2 Boa. Great kicks if you don't mind spikeless.

I also have a pair of Premiers which I really like as well, they're dressier and do have spikes.

Add me to the list of Packard fans, very comfortable and lighter than I would have guessed.
  17. Call me old-fashioned but I love the FJ Originals. I have an all black and an all white pair that I wear depending on the rest of the outfit. Very comfortable and just classic looking.

Whilst I would love to wear FJ, I am yet to find a pair that are long term comfortable. I have had my feet measured, but no shops ever have any in the size it indicates, and it’s a big risk buying shoes and then not being able to return them as they have been worn.

Currently wearing Skechers, and have a set of Eccos in a box ready to go

Currently I have flex XP in two colours, original traditions and latest ones in two different colours, hyperflex boa in 3 colours, and the packards. Hyperflex boa are my absolute constant winter shoe and I like to wear them with shorts also. On very dry summer rounds I’ll wear the flex XP and mix in the traditions here and there. I used to love the pro SL carbon but the insoles wore through entirely within 6 months.

I’m currently experimenting with the packards as park of a swing change to calm down some of the foot movement the flexible shoes like the hyperflex allow.

As if my FJ Traditions obsession was not bad enough, they are now releasing a spikeless version in several different colors. What a way to test my 43 years of marriage.

Happy wife, happy life I hear, Dale. You may need to leave this pair in the locker at your club.

Was always a fan of the Saddle FJ Dry Joys, whether stock or in the MyJoys. Just loved the comfort and stability of that shoe. Started wearing those when I started this crazy game. Went into mental rehab when FJ dropped the line. Still have four pair of the DryJoy MyJoys that I take good care of, my babies. I do like the new Traditions and Premieres. So much lighter on the feet. Have a few of the ProSLs in my rotation also. Comfort and stability is what I need and FJ has always been there for me. Got you beat Dale, 45 years of marriage, 37 years of playing golf and she still says, oh another pair of FootJoys. Hakuna matata. =)
