The legs on my Links Legend bag droop when I carry bag. They droop down and hit me in calf. It happened 2 months after getting bag from my Club. In Dec. my Club put in warranty and I picked a new color that was in current stock. My Club told me today that Titleist not sure when I get my new bag. So I have a $400 bag with tie straps holding leg piece together.

    Anyone else waiting for bag?

    thanks for any advice

Normally they give a reason. Did you have embroidery done on the bag? They can delay bags sometimes. I have had that happen to a tour bag of mime. You can always get the order number and check on it yourself.

I will say the "leg droop" as you call it will happen to some degree in many stand bags (all brands) that have the same style of retractable leg system. The tension wire will lose strength over time if the bag stays too long in the 45 degree extended position. I always store mine upright with the legs retracted. You can adjust the leg tension and minimize the condition by popping loose the nylon tension badge that hold the wires together and then raising it up about an inch. I use pliers to then pop it back into place. I have done this with several Players 4 and Players 4 Carbon bags.

David, give ebay a quick search for "golf stand droopy legs" and you'll find what you're looking for.

i agree that a 400 dollar bag deserves better than tie straps.
