    Hey Team Titleist,

Looking for some feedback on a lightweight carry bag. I currently have a Titleist Premier Stand Bag that I love, but I keep it for nicer events and riding a cart and tend to baby it.

I’m looking for something lighter and more durable that I can carry, take to the range, use for quick rounds or par-3s with my daughter, and throw in the back of my work truck or car without worrying about it.

I’m deciding between the Player Stand Bag and the Hybrid 5 Stand Bag and would love to hear opinions from anyone who’s used either (or both). How do they compare for walking, weight, durability, and everyday use?

    Appreciate any insight.

Of course, it boils down to individual preferences and planed usage over popularity here. That said, my option would be, if you just carry to and from the car to the range or to load on a cart, the Hybrid bags are great for that. If you want to play a full round and carry over your shoulders, the Players 4 or Players 5 are easier for that due to their more compact size. Since you already have your Premier that you can use during nice events, having the smaller Players 4 to switch back into for walking might make the most sense. Again, doesn’t matter what we think, just what works best for you. I have a Cart 14, LinksLegend, Players 5, Players 4, Players 4 Carbon, that I switch around based on where I will play that day. I guess I have most of my options covered.

Thanks for the reply. Part of the reason I was asking is that it’s tough to really know what works for me when I can only see the bags in-store and not actually use them. I run midsize and jumbo grips, and I’ve heard some bags (like LinksLegend) can be tight with larger grips, so I was hoping to hear from people with real-world experience.

This would mainly be an everyday bag for range sessions, par-3s with my daughter, and something I don’t have to baby, and it would likely be used for about 90% of my rounds as well. I keep my Premier stand bag for nicer rounds. I wanted a Titleist option that can handle light walking if needed but is built more for daily use. Sounds like the Hybrid fits that role well. Appreciate the insight.
