Many golfers feel the need to “help’ the ball into the air…this can cause a myriad of problems and impede success (loss of shaft lean, poor face condition at impact, lack of distance & direction, etc.). By learning how to hit DOWN on the ball…allowing the loft of the club to deflect the ball into the air…golfers will enjoy greater success with all of their shots. Check out this video…a simple way to help improve your impact position! Tell me what you think!

    Have fun getting better!!!!

Slow motion helps understand more, the hit on the top of the bag helps with impact. I clearly understood that I have a breakdown since my club face hits the ball first before the shaft gets by the ball. Still playing golf in December in Az.

Perfect timing for this drill! I’ve been struggling with consistency due to flipping and this will help! Thanks!

Great drill there Skip. Weight shift is an important key which is sometimes forgotten and makes hitting down a hit and miss proposition.
