Golfing in a Drought or at Sea Level?

  1. Playing golf at sea level has taught me a few things: Bermuda grass, bent grasses, and natural poa annua as well as noxious weed grasses over seeded watered and cut high and low. In dry conditions things change.

Desert golf or mountain golf present different equilibrium. Any setting for golf is great . It is a game of adjustment. It is a game of 18 holes daily, more if contested, and a game of posture. How long will you last even if you are good enough? And under what conditions?

So many courses are gone that had a chance due to drought conditions. Was your course affected? Did you learn other courses because of it? How does golf help you adjust?
