Recommend going to see a golf (PGA teacher/instructor) pro at local course. Best investment you will ever make.
They are there to correct issues such as yours by observing. Hard to correct without seeing your swing. "Only course of action".

I agree with Chuck. Best money spent is on lessons and not on fittings or new clubs at first. While getting fitted and new clubs help players who play regularly, the best bang for your buck is seeing a pro for lessons. YouTube videos of pros do not count and neither does just one lesson. Repeated lessons with individual practice will help tremendously as well as short game practice.

Jeesh, that's some good info. Looks like I need to spend more time over in the instruction section.

Well, could follow Rick's lead also. Great tips. He does hit a pretty good ball. Have played with him at an event in NC.

Ha! Thanks for the endorsement, Chuck!
  7. For me, I know if I break my wrist at the top of my backswing, most likely I’m slicing. I haven’t learned how to time my wrist to come back to square in time during my swing to send it straight. But, hopefully I land on the next hole’s fairway! Haha. (no pics on the scorecard!)

As Groucho Marx would say in his professional advice, don't do it again. =) Loved the Marx bros.

I have tried to teach myself. Worst advice I ever gave myself. Well, at least in golf. A slice is an open face to the club path. Logically I knew what an outside to in swing path, but until an actual pro worked with me, I couldn’t figure out how out-to-in felt different from an in-to-out.
Unlike Ben Hogan “activating the ground”, I would start with my arms and chest muscles. Classic over swinging. Hope you find a better groove quickly.
  10. I use to do this also.
What i changed was my shaft from Regular to X-Stiff. I did this because my club head speed was high and by the time i connected with the ball, i was aiming out right. I also didn't try and hit 300 each time and focused on keeping my front foot on the ground and had a smoother follow through.

Just what worked for me but as the guys above mentioned, there's a lot of videos out there on this
