Our group has been going to Grand National Golf Course in Hinckley, MN for the past 29 years. Every year this group of between 24 and 30 guys has been throwing money in the hole in one fund. On July 26th, 2025 lightning struck twice. In our morning round I aced hole #15 (125 yds), using a 9 iron and a Titleist ProV1 for my first hole in one! In the afternoon round, I was playing with one of my best friends when he aced hole #12 (140 yds), using an 8 iron and a Titleist ProV1 for his first hole in one! Needless to say we were both thrilled with our "shots of the day".
