On the 30th of July 2025 I finally got my first hole in one.

We turned up to the amazing Royal Auckland Golf course in Auckland Nz and on the second hole we came to long par 3.

175 metres into the wind over some bunkers. I decided to take an easy Titleist AP2 4 iron to clear the bunks and try keep under the wind.

Good strike, straight at it. The base of the cup couldn’t be seen from the tee box but I heard a clank….slam dunk.

I didn’t know it went in and got to the green, no ball to be seen, thought it may have long and then said to my playing partner, have a look in the hole as a joke but it’s was the only place it could be and there it was, my branded Titleist Pro V 1x.
