Today I scored my first 1 ever! Par 3 9th hole on Smith course at Tumblebrook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT! 156yd elevated green with a front tucked pin, into the wind. I hit a slightly less than flushed 8iron (Titleist AP1) that flew the front edge of green, hopped and disappeared from sight. Had a feeling, but wasn’t sure enough to even mention possibility out loud. Drove up, and nothing on green. That’s when I started to believe. Sure enough, there it was, my Titleist 2 Tour Speed in the cup! Got to celebrate with my buddy, Richie! Awesome day!
