As I approached the 7th hole at Lake Winds in Rougemont, NC yesterday I spied a club left at the back of the green and I jokingly thought maybe it's a HIO prize. The pin was in front, lasered at 131 yards and with a slight breeze into. Strike was clean with a 7 iron, Titleist TrueFeel hit just on the green, bounced twice and disappeared! First HIO...and I had a great story for the walker ahead of me on the 10th tee as I reunited him with his wedge!!
