My time has finally come! I've been golfing for 42 years (since I was 6), and although I have been very close many many times, I've never gotten one to fall. Until yesterday! I had 156, pulled 9 iron, hit a little draw, landed about 8 feet right of the cup on a little ridge and spun it directly into the cup. The best part of the whole thing, about 10-11 years ago, one of my best friends and I entered into a hole-in-one bet. The bet... A $2000 dinner for us and our wives paid for by the guy who didn't get lucky. The caveat... We had to be playing together in order to win. Guess who I was playing with? Now to decide where I want to go for dinner!
