I was playing in a 4some with some friends on a Saturday morning. The course was backed up so by the time we got to the tee box there was already a group waiting behind us. The tee box was uphill so you cannot actually see the balls land on the green which is the only unfortunate part. The green is also 3 tiers and the flag was playing all the way in the back this day. Our group got up there and hit pretty quickly to pick up pace. My first buddy hit his shot and it was nice and straight, definitely in the green but could tell it was short of the flag. My second buddy did not hit a great shot, I hit 3rd and it was nice and straight with some power. I remember an older guy in the cart behind us waiting saying “that looks really good”. I thought it was going to be long. The last guy in our group went and pushed his to the right. As my cart partner and I were driving up, when we got to the top of the hill we could see the one that was short in the green knowing it was the first guy. I did not see a second ball so got out of the cart and started trolling the rough behind the green, even went deep back to where the course basically ended and there was a house. I could not find a ball anywhere. I yelled down to my buddy that was at his ball in the green if he wade anything and I started walking towards him, as I did I peeked at the green and saw a nice divot a bit left of the flag. In my head I said no way but checked the hole anyway. By then, my buddy was almost at the hole, we both looked in together and sure enough, my ball was in there. Electric moment I will never forget, just wish I could have seen it go in!
