My son, Lukey Bates, shot his first hole-in-one today. We were playing Lakewood Oaks Country Club (our home course) in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Hole 16, par 3, 179 yards, it's a downhill green sothe hole was playing about 170. He hit a towering 7 iron that landed about 20 feet short of the hole. We watched it snake right into the hole. To top it off, his ace helped him shoot an 82 (41-41), his best score yet.
