Was talking to my golf buddy on the way to the course, I said “I’m nervous I may get my first hole in one by myself with how much I’ve been playing alone lately. Logged my best front nine of the season with a +1 (37). Got to the back nine, bogeyed 10, 11 is a 156 (to stick) par 3, hurting wind today. Played an 8 iron, straight off the face I said “oh just go in the hole”. Said it jokingly, exaggerating that the shot felt great. Little did I know it would hop twice, and then disappear.
