At my in-law’s annual memorial golf tournament to honor my wife’s late uncle and late grandfather, James A. Casey Sr. Ans Jr., I had the shock of my life on the 14th hole at Fox Run Golf Course (formally Okemo Valley Golf Course)! Not a regular golfer, but one who loves the game and wishes he could play more, you can imagine my shock that I, of all people, would actually achieve this incredibly difficult and memorable milestone. I know that someone from up above was giving me a hand. One of the first things I did was shout out thanks to my wife’s late grandfather, whom we call “Poppy!” I think the most special part was that my daughter, Maggie (who never comes to see golf in person), was there to witness that as well as my mother-in-law., Karen. I think I am living proof that it’s better to be lucky than good sometimes lol!
