Achieved my ultimate golf achievement last weekend! Uphill 151 yards to a tucked pin on the left of the green. Ball flight was directly on the flagstick, but had no idea it went in until we arrived at the green and didn’t see anything. First thought was that I hit it too well and it went over the green, but just in case, I decided to check the hole and sure enough, it was sitting in it! After that all details are lost in the adrenaline-fueled celebration, but it was especially satisfying to accomplish this while playing with my best friend of 20+ years. The only slight negative aspect was that it was hole #8 and I had to collect myself to finish 10 more holes. The ace brought me to E thru 8, but I proceeded to boogey the next 3 holes. Managed to finish the day at +6 on one of the more challenging courses in my state and we had a great time chopping it up with everyone at the 19th hole afterwards. Truly a special day!
