Hello Titleist Team,
I wanted to share the story of my first hole-in-one—a moment I’ll never forget.
On the Fourth of July, I stepped up to the tee on Hole 4(par3 157yds) at Las Positas Golf course in Livermore and hit a Pro V1x with my 9-iron at about 90% effort. The shot felt solid, but because there was a sand bunker and a hill in front of the green, I couldn’t see the ball land or roll. As we walked toward the green, I actually thought I had hit it over the back. I started looking behind the green but couldn’t find my ball anywhere.
When I finally walked toward the flagstick, I looked down into the cup and saw my yellow Pro V1x sitting in the hole. I couldn’t believe it—it was my very first hole-in-one.
I immediately told my friend to grab my phone and record me pulling the ball out of the cup. Unfortunately, in all the excitement, he forgot to press the record button. We ended up with bloopers instead of the actual moment, and the reactions from the group ahead of us weren’t captured either. Even though we missed the video, the memory and excitement of that moment will stay with me forever.
Thank you for making a golf ball that was part of one of the greatest moments I’ve ever experienced on the golf course.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Arranaga
