  1. Playing at Fort Mill GC in South Carolina last week; it’s about 30 mins from Charlotte. The front 9 is a Donald Ross and the back is an Ellis Maples. Playing from the tips it’s only like 6700 yards but is definitely a 2nd shot course. I checked in about 15 mins early and just rolled some putts. Pro Shop had everyone starting off #10 that day. On that roasting hot and humid day, so common of South Carolina summers, the front center pin location was measuring 156 yards. Playing about 2-3 yards downhil, l I took my first swing of the day, an 80% loosening up practice swing that felt great. Then I stepped up to my ball and pured an 8 iron. My Pro V1 never left the flag and landed about a flagstick in front of the pin; took one hop forward on the firm Bermuda greens, trickled a couple feet and then disappeared into the hole!!!
