My son, Christian, is a 14-year-old PGA Jr. League All-Star, and on the afternoon of May 5, 2026, he achieved every young golfer’s dream—his first hole-in-one.

We were playing the Tanglewood Park Par 3 Course in Clemmons, North Carolina. I was fortunate enough to be on the bag as his caddie, sharing every shot and every emotion with him. Christian struck a beautiful shot with his TM Qi35 52° wedge and Titleist Pro V1, and we watched as it flew straight toward the flag. After one bounce, it disappeared into the cup.

For a brief moment, none of us could quite believe what we had seen. Then the celebration began. The shot was witnessed by two of his PGA Jr. League coaches and two of his playing partners, making the moment even more special.

As his father, getting to caddie for him on the day he made his first ace is a memory I’ll treasure for the rest of my life. For Christian, it’s the beginning of what I hope will be many more unforgettable moments in the game.
