Awesome teamwork of Titleist getting the job done what was capable for them in such sort period.
This happened to me too on the PGA European Tour 3 times. (2 times with a Titleist staff player)

In the back old days tour bags were remaining the (clubhouse) locker room. Some caddies "nicked" some metal woods and sell them on ebay to make their money for their flight. This was very comon on tour until the players/caddie community forwarded the issues to the tour and there was the on guard bag storage from.
But even then, caddies could simply walk in.

When the PGA European Tour was at the Wales Open at Celtic Manor it happend to me & my player.
My player invited me to have breakfast with him in the players lounge, my daily routine as caddie is always be there earlier then the player. Prepare the bag etc. at arrival of my player I couldn't find the bag. My player was in shock too. Complete bag GONE!

Lucky the Titleist truck was still on site. We still had 2 hours before tee-off. So the reps came to us and talked us through the process. My player was playing with standard stock wedges, only some loft/lie adjustments and grinding.
So on the buttom of the Titleist truck I was able to get a staff stand bag. Filled them up with tee's, we got 3 extra dozens of fresh Pro V1's. Within less then 10 minutes we had 3 wedges in the bag included with a new Scotty Cameron putter. Then the Titleist reps taken the specs from the irons of last week and started to build a fresh set of AP2's. But again set of irons takes a bit longer then usual.
The woods were easy. The titleist truck has multiple heads and shafts ready. With the SureFit system is will click & play. So on the range we warm up and my player asked me. Bart how do you feel about this?

I said, well nothing changes for us basically. We stick to the game plan and our daily routine. We have clubs for tee off, short game and we can move our way around on the dance floor. I've done club fitting myself too, I know the reps, they have experience. And they mix their glue with some type of glass or other product (forgot the name) which is to make the drying process quicker. So we had 9 minutes left for tee off. And indeed just before we arrived at the tee box Titleist came with a fresh set of AP2 irons exactly on his own specs and request. Guess what... we shot the lowest round of the day!

When clubs/bags get stolen from the course, airport or anywhere is always a drama. But even though the tour players get the staff for free. Each club has some personal memories. Clubs can make the player feel comfortable. That's why some players still using the 915 metals.

Titleist great job on getting the players and caddies always in great shape on course. It's not easy and some days can be very hectic from personal experience. Especially before the Open or US events.

    Keep up the good work!

    Happy swings,

    Bart

Cody was great to listen to on "Inside the Ropes" on SiriusXM. Seemed like a cool guy and the Paulsons are super on that channel.
