Congrats on a good round and nice trend on the handicap!

My games been up and down all year. Some nice scores in there have brought the handicap down a stroke, but it's those pesky several rounds in between that drive me crazy.

This past weekend we played our annual Ryder Cup style grudge match with the other club in town. Our side came out 20-8. Needing just 5 points to clinch the cup in singles, we held them to taking only 2 matches and halved another. A birdie to start set the tone for my match and a birdie on the 15th closed him out 4&3. Some of my best golf of the year.

I love my clubs. The 915 D3 driver is my friend and I'm not afraid to use it in just about any situation. I love the H3 hybrid, as well = money!

I'll never buy another club off the rack. My fitting for the current set was for the full bag with the head Titleist fitter at the McLean Center in Fort Worth. The three hours and cash were time and money well spent.

After my opening birdie in the singles match, I pounded one down the middle on #2. I could see he was rattled and he put his into the river. After that he didn't hit driver much, sacrificing a lot of yards off the tee. The match was over early and just required me making pars. Fairways and greens!

Like Rick, my game's been up and down. I've posted some of my best scores, but also some of my worst this year. Started to break 90 pretty consistently, which was big for me. Most of the time, it boils down to one thing. As my tee shots go, so does my game. Put it in play, I'm going to be in the low 80s, spray all over the golf course, I'll be lucky to break 100.

On the plus side, getting the hang of the TS3 this year has added a consistent 20 or so yards. Still working on keeping it straighter though. Hope to add some TS3 metals and hybrids by the end of the year.
