    Hey Team Titleist!

It’s been a busy week here at Titleist – with the launch of the all-new Tour Soft, Velocity, T100·S irons and a brand-new line of Scotty Cameron putters – 2020 Special Select. And to add to the fun, I’m escaping the New England winter to sunny Orlando for the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show next week!

Over the course of the week, Iona Stephen from SkySports (and one of our global ambassadors – give her a follow here) and I will be on-site at the Titleist Booth to get us all the scoop on new products, exclusive interviews with Titleist associates and more.

And here’s where we need your help!

On Wednesday, Iona and I will be sitting down with JJ Van Wezenbeeck, Titleist Tour Rep to get an “inside the ropes” look at what it’s like to work with Titleist players on tour. Do you want to know why Cam Smith plays the T100’s in a black finish? Perhaps a behind-the-scenes look at Scott Stalling’s stinger clinic? Well, here’s your chance. Submit your questions below in the comments for a chance to be answered by JJ AND shared on our social channels.

    P.S.

If you don’t know who JJ is, check him out here (navy shirt), hooking JT up with some new irons:

Yes, (I have the same question :-) I do want to know why Cam Smith opts to play the T100’s, and also why in a black finish. What are the likely input about the club has he offered you/Titleist if any with regards to its design and performance?

My question is: Does Titleist dole out the players hats and if so, how many hats do they get per week?

    Inquiring minds want to know...

  13. I'd like to know why none of the literature or marketing material for drivers, ever contains any mention of the actual face size (you know the part where you actually hit the ball)? There's always a lot of talk about the overall head size, the placement of internal weight, the aerodynamic head shape shape, overall weight, etc., but I think all the manufacturer's are omitting what is very important to us amateurs who hit the ball all over the face. Imagine the marketing advantage if Titleist could state something along the lines of "... our newest driver has a face size of xxx cc's, which is 50 cc's larger than our nearest competitor, and is therefore the most forgiving driver on the market".
  14. I have played Titleist golf balls for a long time and would never switch to another ball and have the same confidence and comfort level.
How do you get a Tour Pro to switch?

I'm curious as to what the standard tour player gets in his or her locker per week. I know it varies, but just an idea. It seems to me like a tour player gets a new glove per round, maybe 2 dozen balls.... What else besides access to the tour truck and fittings.

The life of a touring pro....we are jealous!

Do you travel with the Titleist Van during the PGA Tour season? If so describe a normal week on tour.

What player is the most technically into his clubs...like wanting to know all the specs/bounce/loft etc. Which one is the least in that regard, that says just give me something you think will work and doesn't want any LM numbers etc.

I'm assuming all or most touring professionals that play Titleist, use the van at every stop. Let's say the van breaks down on the way to a tour stop. Which professional would have no problem going to a golf shop and playing clubs "off the rack"?
