Has to be a local unless they did the 14-day quarantine. Maui scheduled for September is looking iffy at this point.

Always nice. Like it better in February, though.

LOL I still have that white plastic tag on my backup bag.
Love the Team Titleist Bag Tags!

I’ve been a TT member for years and never seen any offer for a bag tag, been offered one, sent one or able to buy one.
The most I’ve ever had is a 10% off balls code which are still more expensivethan buying elsewhere. Disappointing effort Titleist!

I am sorry that the forum and Titleist has not match your expectations Sean.
As Dale has been so eloquently post the forum is a great getaway for folks like us to talk about golf.
We all love to show our swag, and the ones of us who have been fortunate to receive some are absolutely grateful for it.
With that in mind, participation is key, try to be more active and watch out for random giveaways, Mike, Emilly, Allan and the rest of the staff that do not work the front lines of the forum, do a great job on putting out promos and giveaways with what I am sure is a very limited budget, watch out for those.
Also check for events that are posted nearby you, I know at times, just for playing a round with fellow TT members, you might get some great gear, mostly for the basic price of the 18 hole round.
A great example is the TT event that Sean N puts together in Ohio every year, both of the two times I signed up for it, it was very budget friendly and an absolutely blast.
If you are unable to find an event near by, see if you can draw interest in this forum on hosting an event.
My self I would love to host one here in Southeast Michigan, and once the pandemic is over, I will absolutely look into.
I hope I am not coming out as a jerk, I just want to give you an honest feedback of how to best your chances on getting a bag tag.
    Best regards and FIR/GIR.

With only 4 posts what do you think they should do, give you a key to the building?

Sean, great having you as a Team Titleist member for many years now. I don't know how active you have been in the forum, given only 4 posts but you may have read a lot about bag tags and giveaways as this is probably the most frequently discussed topic. Bunch of posts on ways you can get items including random mail-outs, sweepstakes, welcome gifts at local and national events, and purchases at Ball Plant #3. We are definitely more about sharing content and experiences than getting free stuff or special discounts. Most of my stuff came from events where I paid to participate and have no expectations for Titleist to somehow foot the bill. Sorry you feel neglected and hopefully you can accept that you are no different from most folks on the forum and can share some of your fun and helpful experiences with the group. Happy days ahead!

    Dale,

Hawaii has a 14 day quarantine still in place for out of state visitors. The quarantine was going to be resolved with a proof of negative testing (72 hours prior to travel), but extended because of the current increase of cases on the mainland, and testing has been an issue.

Hawaii has seen an increase in cases due to community spread/large gatherings (Memorial Day, 4th of July, BLM Protest, etc). Courses are following CDC recommendations (Flags in, cups with plugs, rake on cart, no water, etc.).

Wailea Blue closed until further notice. I've hardly been playing, why take a chance, I'm elderly. Practicing chipping in the back yard and swinging only. Better to golf later when count gets really non existent for a two weeks/vaccine available than sick or die. (Just my opinion).

Yep, not to get too far off topic of the cool past-style TT bag tag, I saw where the post came from Hawaii. We have had a family vacation planned and booked for a year, way before this crazy stuff started happening so yes, we have been watching closely as the quarantine rule just won't work for us. If they hold true to the 1 September implementation of travel with a valid negative COVID test results, we will still be able to get out there. I am trying to play Kapalua Plantation as my trip there last year was during the course remodel so it's still an open item on my bucket list. We have a home reserved so I feel comfortable that we can minimize our exposure while there. Good on you for doing what you need to stay safe and hopefully this will eventually pass or a good vaccine will be available. Talked to by dad and he was a kid when the polio outbreak occurred and he said things were very similar. No one knew what it was or how to avoid it. Even worse was methods to communicate (no tv or internet) to ease worries or give advise. Take care, better days ahead.
  16. Not seen one like this in the UK... Pretty neat I have to say.
They look like the tags that top amateurs get over here when competing in prestige tournaments.
