  1. Anyone else in the boat of, changed clubs to try and get more consistency / reduce mistakes but actually feel I make more because I now have reduced ability with these forgiving irons (P790s) to actually shape shots…

A change in irons is coming soon and think Titleist are the prime candidates…just recognise now model as in what they allow you to do is as important as what they are trying to help you avoid!

I agree that as time goes on, our swings will change (part of life) and that's why it's important to get fitted periodically to see what a new set of clubs can do for your game.
  3. Im playing the T350s and can still put a decent shape on my shot. Yeah, the T100s are much more workable but the forgiveness is not there. Te T350s are an fantastic balance.

I went from P770's (21) to T150's (23). Forgiveness and distance increased as did my workability. It shouldn't make sense, but it does. I can't explain it but the R&D guys probably can. All I know is that I picked up about 8 yards on each club (mostly from the loft), my mishits aren't as penalizing, and if I need to sling it around a tree I can do it 8 times out of 10. Go see your fitter and have him run you through the garden.
