Definitely Magnolia on property. Try Orange County National - Panther Lake or the North/South pair at Grand Cypress

I slightly prefer Palm and Lake Buena Vista over Magnolia but you really can't go wrong with any of the Disney courses. If you don't mind a 20-30 min drive, Southern Dunes in Haines City is very nice as well. It has some elevation changes that are not common for Florida golf courses. It's been in great shape every time we've played there over the past several years. Another nice course is the Waldorf Astoria if you want to stay closer to the Disney area. I hope you have a good time on your trip, I'm already counting the days until my next trip to Disney in October.
  4. There also a GREAT course at the Waldorf Astoria at Bonnet Creek on Disney property.

I lived in Orlando for some time so I may be able to help. First off, Palm and Magnolia are both good and enjoyable to play. I slightly prefer the Magnolia. Other courses that I would also recommend. Waldorf Astoria Golf Club. Nice layout and great staff. It's basically on property. Celebration Golf Club is close as well. Kind of a fun course. Some target orientated golf on that track. Orange Co National is solid as well. I will also say if you want a challenging track go play grand cypress. Green Complexes are tough. EAsy to hit fairways but its hard from there in. Enjoy!
  6. Eagle Creek is a great course over in Lake Nona. Champions Gate Country Club is a fun 18 holes. Orange County National offers two nice 18 hole courses.

Disney courses are perfectly manicured, as you would expect. My favorite is Lake Buena Vista. Great views of Disney Springs, Saratoga Springs resort, and Old Key West resort. Palm has a great view of the Polynesian resort.

    Enjoy!

I'll be golfing there in September. Cannot wait!

Just returned from Orlando and we played both Palm and Magnolia at Disney. Both were is fantastic shape but we defiantly preferred the Magnolia course. We also played Champions Gate - also recommended. Recommend early tee times though - it is crazy hot there with tons of humidity - means chance of (at times severe) thunderstorms in the mid to late afternoon are pretty much a daily occurrence!

    Enjoy!

We are going to Disney at the end of the year and are going to make the a trek over to play all 3 Streamsong courses after spending Day 1 at Magic Kingdom. 2 in one day, and then a third the next morning while the wives and kiddos are at some of the other parks.

Grand Cypress is just around the corner from the Disney on site courses and The New Course is one of the best courses I've played in many years. You won't regret it, if you give it a go.
  12. I played Magnolia and Lake Buena Vista while I was there last December. Both were in great condition and fun to play. Like Jason R said early tee times are better due to the heat and humidity but pace of play is very quick as well.

I played Palm at Walt Disney World last week. Course was in great shape, greens had been punched & top dressed within the last 10 days so they weren’t consistent hole to hole but the I enjoyed myself none the less. My cousin and I were paired with two locals that were using a GolfNow tee time and they were GREAT guys. Will definitely one of the Disney courses again when we are down there.

Thank you all for your comments and recommendations. One of the joys of being a member of Team Titleist is to get information from the members like the above comments.

My family and I went to Disneyworld in mid August. Jason R called it. Temps and humidity were crazy. Only got to play once at Magnolia and got pulled off the course after 6 holes to do severe thunderstorms in the area. Wasn't able to play after that due to family commitments.

Hopefully will try again next year.

    Thanks again for your recommendations!
