There is no inside info. It's not like a concert where scalpers swoop in and buy all the tickets. Notice was given to be on the lookout at 11am eastern for the announcement on all platforms. I set an alarm for 10:55 and went to the TT Facebook page and kept refreshing until the notice popped up and then got on the phone. Luckily I wasn't too busy at work today so I could do that. Called at 11am on the nose and was on hold for approximately 5 minutes then made my reservation. When there are only 100 spots and thousands of TT members you have to act fast. Last year sold out in less than an hour also if I remember correctly. I'm sorry that you were not able to get in but there are plenty of opportunities if you are active on the forums. Keep trying.

Dont think theres inside information... Its a matter of internet speed and how many receptionist the resort has!

It is clearly stated that it is first come , first serve and I do not believe that anyone has any inside information to pass on too anyone else . In fact there are TT members who have attended other invitationals who did not get a spot this year !!!

Allen and the Team Titleist team do a great job of putting events like this together and I don't believe that their integrity should be questioned.

These events have been happening for quite some time. There is always advance notice about the approximate timeframe (usually the month) for the event and usually another posting the day before sign-up begins. You need to check the "Events" option on the Team Titleist page early in the year for the timeframe and then check back regularly both on the Discussions page (usually under the Clubhouse option) and the Events page for the announcement. The announcement is posted via the forums/email/social channels.
These events always sell out extremely quick every year, so you need to be informed and be ready the moment you can call in to sign-up.

Dude you are so wrong. I have been a member for many years and the number of members on TT has really grown as well as interest in the annual TT Invitational. It has been building over the past month to the announcement and members have been anxiously watching for it to pop up. I have been to many of them and missed out because I was playing golf, my fault, not because of Titleist. All of us on this site WHO ARE ACTIVE know they sell out VERY QUICKLY. They are legit and the Titleist staffers put in a lot of time and effort in preparing for these events. They are first class and show no preferential treatment. I take offense to your comments because it is a first come first served event, and in my case I missed out. You do have the choice of getting on the waiting list like the rest of us dedicated Titleist loyalists who missed our opportunity this year for whatever our reason. We are not complaining, we are hoping we get the chance. Team Titleist Ambassador and long time member.

Poor choice for a first post. I understand being disappointed in not getting a spot. I've been trying for years and haven't been fortunate enough to land a spot. It is a simple supply and demand issue. Way more people wanting in than Titleist can accommodate. This is the only company I buy products from that show their appreciation by sending gifts and thank you notes to it's loyal customers. Suggesting the system is fixed is over the top.
  8. I hear what your saying, as a person that has attended every TT Invitational since the start I will share with you it takes time and effort to get your place each year. The same is true with Scotty Cameron items, special TT swag drops, and as Chuck said concert tickets. It is just an unfortunate side of the hobby.

The good news is that out community is growing quickly and is very healthy as we support our enjoyment of the game of golf and love of the Titleist brand. Keep up your involvement with TT and don't be discouraged!

    Cheers,
    Chris
