    Hello all,

    My name is Justin Helton. I am a new member of "Team Titleist" but not new to the brand. I have been playing Titleist clubs and balls for about 5 years now. I live about 30 minutes south of Atlanta, Ga and I was wondering if more east coast events are in our future. I am eager to meet all of you and really want to travel and play new golf courses and meet new people but flying to Cali for every event gets expensive. Thanks in advance! God Bless.

    Most of our local events are organized by experienced TT members. It might be helpful to reach out to other TT members in your area that have been to a few of these to help. Also, the selection and agreement with a golf course should be done by Lisa as Titleist does not want any misrepresentation for discounts to be implied. Once you and Lisa have a venue, you can then advertise to fill spots as the local "host". Lisa will help you pick a date that does not conflict with other major outings so that TT members are not forced to choose between events. Good luck and hoping for success.

    Justin, of the TT invitationals none have been in California. Most have been on the east coast. Pinehurst, NC (twice): Kiawah Island, SC; TPC Sawgrass, Ponte Verde, FL: Streamsong, Bowling Spring, FL. Being new you missed the great events. Drivable from your area. They kinda rotate. Some members take it themselves to put together local events in their respective areas thru the cooperation of TT staff members. Currently there is a TT International event open registration to all members and yes they are expensive. Overseas and stateside and we are required to provide our own transportation. I kinda have you make the choice, if I can drive or do I want to fly or is it a walking only course. I missed Whistling Straits, Kohler, WS and Bandon Dunes, Bandon, OR, because they were walking courses. I save all year for the annual TT Invitational, because I know it will take about $2K +/- for the event. When announced the registrations are filled up within a matter of hours and then we have a waiting lists. Always fills up.

    I appreciate the info! I am super sad I missed out on those events you mentioned because most were my dream courses to play. I'm here now and won't miss the opportunity from here on out. I will look into more information about starting something with Lisa! It would be cool I think to do that sort of thing. Pinehurst and Sawgrass are definately my top 2 I wanna play.     Special note, they are always during SEC football, but we are home for the weekends. Go vols. =)
