  1. Might be headed out to LV in mid-October and thinking about bringing my clubs. Any recommendations on where to play if I’ll only be able to play a single round? I’ll have a car so doesn’t have to be something super close the the strip either. Thanks everyone!

  8. TPC Summerlin is awesome and the home of the PGA Tour fall Shriners Classic.

  9. If you don’t have transportation you can play Bali Hai it’s literally on the strip. If you don’t mind a little drive I definitely recommend Wolf Creek and Coyote Springs. I actually played them both last October.

I've played TPC Las Vegas in several trips and always enjoyed it. Course is well maintained and never seemed too crowded. Very friendly clubhouse staff and nice restaurant for drinks/food after the round.

By far, Shadow Creek - need to book well advance and I believe you'll need to be staying at an MGM resort (Bellagio). Also pricey, in season green fees are over $1,000. Played Bali Hai since it was near airport the day I was departing, but it's just okay, nothing special.

Bali Hai is close and nice, Wolf and Paiute cant go wrong just a little farther, TPC also, and Shadow I've only read about and heard bc of the $$$.

Where did you end up playing? We go every November for the MGA World Championship at the Revere.

Every year I try and knock off a Vegas course that's new. This year was Reflection Bay. Fantastic course.

Another new one was Boulder Creek. It was a last minute round for me and a friend, however, the course was the best condition course we played all week. I would highly recommend it. 3 nines and they were in great shape
